You know you are a fashion designer when you jump up and down every time you see fabric which is about to become a creation of yours!

Yes, this is God's plan for me! =D

Virtue Makes You Beautiful

This is great! What a great reminder for all girls and women who are struggling to know that modest is hottest!

Don't give into the faux attraction of showing off your body. Men will not get to know you if they are so attracted to just your body.

Love it!

Until next time!

What Not to Wear: Fall edition

I appreciate The Sartorialist, I really do. (He is a photographer who travels and takes pictures of everyday fashion). But when I saw this one, I couldn't help but wonder... What on earth was this woman thinking?!?!

The scarf obviously tells us how cold she is... but why the mini skirt? Thi
s picture was taken in January in Paris, which = COLD!
But the this is actually a trend now, bundled up, with bare legs. (Let's be honest, tights are not that warm). Let's do all mankind a favor this autumn and not confuse them with this trend. Skirts are perfectly alright, I wear them more than I wear pants! Knee length is generally a good rule of thumb for skirts, especially since they have a tendency to rise up when you walk/sit.
This lovely outfit, is just as trendy, but more so evenly distributed and modest (even more classy, if I may say so myself :-)

Until next time!

"There are, moreover, three virtues which perfect the devout person with regard to control of his own senses. These are: modesty, continence and chastity. By the virtue of modesty the devout person governs all his exterior acts. With good reason, then, does St. Paul recommend this virtue to all and declare how necessary it is and as if this were not enough he considers that this virtue should be obvious to all. By continence the soul exercises restraint over all the senses: sight, touch, taste, smell and hearing. By chastity, a virtue which ennobles our nature and makes it similar to that of the Angels, we suppress our sensuality and detach it from forbidden pleasures. This is the magnificent picture of Christian perfection. Happy the one who possesses all these fine virtues, all of them fruits of the Holy Spirit who dwells within him. Such a soul has nothing to fear and will shine in the world as the sun in the heavens." ~ St. Padre Pio
